The academic program at Greece Christian Preschool presents a wide variety of teacher-directed and informal learning activities in individual, small and large group situations to foster growth and development in all areas of your child's life. Greece Christian Preschool offers two different age-level programs to give your child the best possible preschool experience. The foundation that our children receive serves as a strong base for their future.

Three Year Old Program

Designed for children who are three years old by December 1st. All students must be independent with bathroom needs.

Three different class sessions are offered:

  • Mon/Wed/Fri
  • Wed/Fri
  • Tues/Thurs

All class times are from 9:15am till 11:45am. Each classroom has a 12 student maximum with a teacher and a teacher’s assistant.

Our objectives for each child are to be able to:

  • Follow one or two step directions
  • Work together: progressing towards cooperative play (three or more children) 
  • Listen with understanding
  • Use eye contact
  • Use words to express and communicate feelings
  • Share

We introduce the child to the proper way of holding a writing utensil: pencil, crayon, paint brush, scissor. We do not expect mastery, but we do encourage the proper handling of these tools. Also we stress the importance of learning and practicing social skills.

Four Year Old Program

Designed for children who are four years old by December 1st. All students must be independent with bathroom needs.

  • Tue/Th
  • Mon—Fri

All class times are from 9:15am till 11:45am. Each classroom has a 17 student maximum with a teacher and a teacher’s assistant.


Our objectives for each child are to be able to:

  • Follow two or three step directions
  • Work together: progressing towards cooperative play (three or more children)
  • Listen with understanding
  • Use self-control
  • Develop responsibility
  • Use eye contact
  • Use words to express and communicate feelings
  • Share

At this level, we introduce pre-kindergarten skills such as: Pre-math skills, Pre-reading skills, and Name, Number, and Letter recognition

Classroom Highlights include: Cooking Up A Story, Teddy Bear Sleepover, Pajama Day, Show and Tell, Book Buddy, Star Student, Gym Time, Story Time
